About Nicole Halzack
I was born, raised, and currently live in Connecticut. Art has always been a part of me from a very young age. I attended art school after high school and now as a wife and mother of three, art has become a much bigger part of my life. I have found a different love for art than I had when I was 18 and in art school. (back then, art history put me to sleep...now, give me all the art history!)
I live with my husband who is a glazier(not of donuts), three daughters, and our cat Bosco. I continue to learn and am constantly looking for inspiration to create new things.
Custom Portraits
I specifically love creating portraits because there’s nothing like trying to capture a person. It pushes me every time. To see and hear a person's reaction when they see their portrait is always so encouraging to keep going. I love when you love your portrait!
Nicole’s art is a staple in our home. We first received a beautiful portrait by her as a gift and fell in love with it so much, I had to purchase another. Her work, especially her portraits, capture so much of our family’s personality with so much beautiful detail. So much so that we had her paint our wedding guest book for signatures.
Nicole is fabulous to work with, paying attention to requests and close details creating perfect paintings. I have a long list of things I need her to paint for our new home.
